If you’re looking to dispose of your rubbish in Tipperary there are a ton of options for you to choose from. Firstly, Tipperary is lucky enough to have five civic amenity sites in total, at the following locations:

(i) Donohill Recycling Centre, Garryshane, Donohill, Co. Tipperary, E34 A090
(ii) Roscrea Civic Amenity Site, Dublin Road, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, E53 Y985
(iii) Nenagh Recycling Centre, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, E45 KA07
(iv) Carrigeen Recycling Centre, Carrigeen Business Park, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary E91 C6E8
(v) Wallers’ Lot Recycling Centre, Clonmel Road, Cashel, Co. Tipperary E25 VK54

They are open from Monday to Thursday from 8:30am until 4:30pm. They close at 3:30pm and on Saturdays they open at 9am until 12:45. Unfortunately, like every other civic amenity site in the country, they don’t open on Sundays or Bank Holiday Mondays.

To dump a black sack of rubbish will cost you €5 per bag. They also accept larger items but the cost rises for such items – for example, a single mattress costs €18 to dump and it’s €20 for a double.

There is an alternative to civic amenity sites in Tipperary and that’s the BIGbin, which is located at the following address: Ryan’s Centra Newport, Co. Tipperary, V94 TPD7. It costs €8 to drop two big black sacks of rubbish and just €2 to drop your recycling so the BIGbin is better value than your local dump. Also, it’s open every day from early until late so it’s available when you need it.
